Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 October 2026
yassir.codes is the coaching brand of WebMastry LLC, a Wyoming (US) company. I'm Yassir, and I run both. In this policy, "I" and "me" means me and WebMastry LLC. This page explains what personal data I collect, why, who else handles it, how long I keep it and what you can ask me to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email me at yassir@yassir.codes.
What I collect and why
When you browse the site
I use Google Analytics to see which pages people read and how they found the site. It uses cookies and collects things like the pages you visit, your approximate location (country or city level), your device and browser, and the site that referred you. I use this to decide what to write and what to fix. I don't use it to identify you personally. Analytics only runs if you click Accept in the cookie banner. You can change your mind any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
When you book a call or session
Bookings run through Cal.com. When you book, Cal.com collects your name, email address, time zone and chosen time slot. For paid sessions, the booking form also asks for:
- a link to your code repository, or your GitHub username so access can be shared with me
- what you built and with which tools
- your goal for the session
I use your repo access only to prepare for our sessions (the codebase review before each one). I don't copy your code elsewhere or use it for anything else. You can revoke my access at any time from your repository settings, and I'll remind you to do so after our last session.
When you pay
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch this site's servers; I never see them. Stripe stores your payment details under its own privacy policy. It shares with me your name, email address, the amount, the date and whether the payment went through, which I need for bookings, receipts and my accounting.
Emails about your sessions
Some emails from this site, like the personal pack discount code I send after a first session, go out through Resend. To send them, Resend handles your name and email address.
When you join the newsletter
If you sign up, I store your email address and the page you signed up from in the site's database (Vercel Postgres, run by Neon). I use it only to send you new guides and updates. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter email or emailing me.
During coaching
Sessions are recorded by default, and I share the recording privately with you. If you'd rather not be recorded, tell me and I won't record. I also keep my session notes, your answers to the booking questions and the written recaps. All of this is for you and for continuity between sessions. I don't share it.
When you email or message me
If you email me, or message me on WhatsApp as a pack client, I keep the conversation so I can reply and follow up.
Who else handles your data
These services process data on my behalf, under their own privacy policies:
- Vercel hosts the site. Like any host, it logs technical request data such as IP addresses for security and to keep the site running.
- Vercel Postgres (Neon) for the site's database, including the newsletter list.
- Google Analytics (Google) for site analytics.
- Cal.com for bookings and the booking form.
- Stripe for payments.
- Resend for sending emails, such as your pack discount code.
- Google Meet or Zoom for the video calls and their recordings.
- WhatsApp (Meta) for messages between sessions, if you're on the pack.
Some of these providers are based in the United States, and WebMastry LLC is a US company, so your data may be processed outside your country. The providers each offer safeguards for international transfers.
I don't sell your data, and I don't use it for advertising.
Legal basis
If you're in the EU, UK or a similar jurisdiction: I process booking, payment and session data to provide the coaching you asked for (contract). I process analytics and newsletter data based on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. I keep server and payment records for security and because accounting and tax rules require it (legitimate interests and legal obligation).
How long I keep it
- Booking details, booking-form answers, session notes and recaps: 2 years after your last session, then deleted. Ask and I'll delete them sooner.
- Session recordings: 90 days, then deleted. Ask and I'll delete yours sooner.
- Payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Newsletter email: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: according to the retention setting in Google Analytics, after which Google deletes it.
- Repo access: until you revoke it. I'll ask you to revoke it after our last session.
Security
I use reputable, well-known providers for everything on this page, and I keep access to your data limited to what's needed to run the coaching. Your card details never reach me at all. But no way of sending or storing data online is 100% secure, so I can't promise nothing will ever go wrong.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- tell you what data I hold about you, and give you a copy
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your data (unless I'm legally required to keep it, like payment records)
- stop using your data for something you objected to, or withdraw consent you gave
Email me at yassir@yassir.codes and I'll reply within 30 days. If you're not happy with my answer, you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site and the coaching aren't aimed at anyone under 18, and I don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page.
